Samhain 2012 Ritual

Join San Diego's Druids in celebrating Samhain - We will be celebrating the Final Harvest and Day of the Dead High Day with ritual and feasting. To take advantage of the light and that people may have plans for the night after ritual, please come and feast before ritual. Ritual will begin about 5:00 pm.
Children are welcome to attend and participate. Please supervise children who can not sit still for the deep meditation section. Parents who miss the meditation can have an opportunity after. (Note: this is near open water - supervise children at all times)

Cost: Donations to help support the grove and supplies are cheerfully welcome.

What to bring: Vegetarian Dishes MOST welcome for our variety of diets.
Potluck (Dish to share) - A-F main dish G-L side M-R dessert S-Z pre/after snacks (please mark containers or bring in disposable). In Keeping green, please bring own plates, cups and utensils to avoid adding to land fill.Wood for the fire, offerings for the gods, non perishable food item for Mama's Kitchen.
Coast Oak is continuing our tradition of an Ancestor Box. We will collect in the ancestor box a memento of your ancestor (if you wish to participate). This can be a small photograph, a small token of theirs, or even their name on a piece of paper (Items will NOT be returned) box will be sealed at Full Moon and box will be honored in ritual during the coming year.

Directions: 8 west to sports arena/w mission bay. turn right and stay on that road until it turns into Ingram and you come to Crown Point Drive (at top of 3rd bridge) Turn right. As you start down the hill, take a right to the parking lot and go to the second set of restrooms near the basketball courts. Look for the Coast Oak Sign.
