Greetings and Merry Meet! We are San Diego's largest and oldest-continually-operating Grove.
We'd like to invite those interested in a Druid path to join us to join the Coast Oak Grove, A.D.F. located in central San Diego. The grove was founded to explore the path of nature based Indo-European Druidry. It is open to followers of Druidism, Modern Druidry and those interested in learning more about the Druid path.

"There are three reasons one ought to sacrifice to the gods: either on account of honor or on account of gratitude or on account of a want of things." ~ Theophrastos

This is much banner-waving about the word Warlock in Neopagan circles. I for one feel it is really odd that a community would take on a charged word such as "witch" with all its societal baggage and then throw another word "warlock" under the bus to distract their reclamation. And the folk etymology that purports that warlock means "oath breaker" is not sound as some would hope. Besides, it is more important what word means now in the modern vernacular. There are documents in England that make reference to warlocks who are sought out to reverse the hexes of evil witches.
